Sumerians. They became the leaders of the Roman Empire, and they not only executed Yeshua and drove the Jews out of Jerusalem, but they stole Christianity from the Jews and destroyed the Hebrew Bible.

When the Roman empire fell, they took refuge in Venice as the black nobility. From there I believe they headed to Khazaria, and from Khazaria they took over Europe as the "superior" aristocracy.

Your explanation puts a spanner in the works of the ubiquitous Khazarian Mafia theme that runs through the conspiracy-UFO-Truther world.

The so-called Khazarian Mafia (Khazar used as a code word for “Jew”) has very little evidence to support it. There is no DNA evidence of Khazar origins in Ashkenazi Jewry. There is no linguistic evidence – no trace of Turkic language in Yiddish, and there is no cultural evidence either – that is, no stories, recipes, folk customs, or superstitions with Turkic traces. Yet the Khazarian Mafia meme continues to be circulated on social media.

Arthur Koestler, who wrote The Thirteenth Tribe promoting the idea that Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the Judeans and Israelites of antiquity but from the Khazars - a Turkic people who allegedly mass-converted to Judaism the 8th century – told his biographer that he “was convinced that if he could prove that the bulk of Eastern European Jews were descended from the Turkic Khazars, the racial basis for antisemitism would be removed and antisemitism itself could disappear.” Of course, the irony is that his book is used by antisemites to promote the idea that it is Ashkenazi Jewry that rules the world etc. etc. ad nauseum.
